Sellers Offer Creative Marketing Strategies for Buyers
Today’s northern New Jersey real estate market is not without its challenges, mostly due to limited optimal inventory and buyer psychology. Today, a good real estate agent is spending a great deal of time and effort bringing both parties (buyer and seller) to a consensus. Sellers are apprehensive about leaving money on the table, and buyers are unsure if they should hold out for a better deal down the road. This ends up causing a stalemate. Sellers who are eager to sell are open to creative marketing strategies, such as a home sale contingency, offering seller concessions, rent with the option to buy and some will even consider owner financing, all in the attempt to accommodate a potential buyer’s situation.
