Summit NJ

The City of Summit is a mature suburban community located 35 miles due west of New York City. Summit’s downtown area, ideal geographic location, culturally active community & highly rated public schools have made Summit a first choice for many relocating to the Tri-State area. Once a resort town for New Yorkers to escape the New York City pollution, Summit became a city in 1899. Beautifully restored, turn-of-the-century homes, off set by mature tree lined streets and a thriving downtown area, reflects the town’s century-old pride and soul.
