The Township of Berkeley Heights, once part of the Borough of New Providence, was formed in 1952. Located 44 miles due west of New York City, Berkeley Heights covers almost 6.62 square miles and is home to approximately 13,400 residents. Commutability to New York City, highly rated public schools and an attractive real estate base has made Berkeley Heights a highly desirable New Jersey town for many decades.
